The Artist
Born in Scotland in 1948, he has roots in Galloway and on the island of Colonsay. He studied at Glasgow School of Art graduating diploma of Art in 1970. He has lived and taught in Glasgow, South Uist and Skye, and has painted and travelled in Northern and Southern Europe, particularly Italy, France and Germany. Andrew now works full-time in his own studio, painting, print-making and carving and exhibits regularly.Exhibitions /Commissions 2011:

- Dec. "Sacred Ground/ Fearann Coisrigte" (Of Saints and Sinners) joint show with Marion Roberts and Alasdair McMorrine.
- 11th. to 17th. Dec. Dundas Street Gallery Edinburgh.
Commissions:
- Woodcarving of Saint Ninian, installed Saint Ninian's Episcopal church, Comely Bank, Edinburgh. 18th. Sept.
- Currently working on commissioned portrait paintings and carving,painting and printmaking. Planned shows for 2012 include an exhibition in Orbort Gallery in Skye.
